Education Centre
The Education Centre offers hands-on environmental education to school, church,
and community groups. An interpretive trail will be extended through the
property, making use of the varied habitats on site from woodland to wetland.
Community living
A Rocha Centres have a community emphasis, bringing Christians and others
together in the context of a shared commitment to the environment and
conservation studies.
Demonstration garden
The garden provides fresh produce for those staying at the centre, and is
designed to demonstrate and promote sustainable agriculture - part of A Rocha's
living classroom.

The River Tree: Native Plants and Local Crafts
A Rocha's retail store opened to the public in 2007. Operated mainly by
volunteers, our store introduces people to native plant species and sells
produce and honey from the Centre along with selected locally produced goods.
Heritage Barn
The barn, originally built in 1928, has recently been refurbished and outfitted
with electricity, plank floors, a stage, bar, and various seating areas, making
it a splendid venue for community activities, lectures, workshops, conferences,
and other events.
