Prairie Field Study Centre, MB

The House
Designed from the outset to host groups, and offering a panoramic view of the valley, the house will serve perfectly as a community living space and residence for a host family.

Education Centre
The Education Centre, with its outdoor amphitheatre, a winterized shelter with washrooms, and an eating/meeting area for up to 60 people, will be available for consultations, group activities, concerts and lectures.

Interpretive Centre
The Interpretive Centre will be located close to the Pine Grove, accessible to the public visiting the neighbouring provincial park. With various displays, it will support environmental education and encourage creation stewardship, while facilitating conservation partnerships.

Hiking Trails
The network of trails on the property continues to expand. Visitors gain a closer experience of the Valley’s great variety of birds and wildlife, while the numerous ridges and hollows offer many vistas and sweeping views.

Garden, Orchard & Meadow
The “Native Meadow” and specific clearings in the woods are being set aside as places for study, research and meditation. Limited overnight camping is under consideration for the future.
