Volunteers and Interns
At the Tourades centre there are continuously four to ten
volunteers who stay for a few weeks, months or even a year, as part of the
community commitment to nature conservation. Each application receives
particular attention so that the candidate's expectations are reflected in their
activities at the centre, and a personalised project is put in place, which is

Visitors
The Baux valley, the Alpilles mountains, the Crau plains and the
Camargue wetlands, which are all nearby, form a collection of incomparable
attractions, including a range of landscapes, rich heritage, history and
culture, and remarkable flora and fauna. For more

However, the Tourades centre welcomes visitors who not only want
to savour the charms of the region, but who also wish to discover and share in
the objectives of A Rocha.

Life at the Tourades
Great care is given to the organization and smooth functioning
of community life, which gives excellent opportunities to practise our values
(the "5 C").
Every Monday, the permanent team, the volunteers and the interns
meet together to organise the activities and meetings for the coming week,
including preparing for and welcoming new people, and attributing daily tasks.
