Directions to Tourades

From Aix-en-Provence

Take the A8 from Aix towards Nimes.  When you arrive at Arles, take the 1st exit (D453), in the direction of Avignon.

After about 700m, at the large roundabout with the old aqueduct in the centre, take the first exit in the direction of Pont de Crau.

When you arrive at the next smaller roundabout, take the last exit at the far left in the direction of Barbegal and Fontvieille. You will come to a set of traffic lights; continue straight on. You are now on Route de Coste Basse.

From here, drive approximately 3km along the scenic route de Coste Basse. You will see the small white sign for A Rocha on the left at a bend in the road at number 233. You have arrived!

From Nîmes

From Nîmes, take the A54. When you arrive at Arles, take exit number 7: Arles / Pont de Crau (after Arles Centre, Fourchon).

From Fontvieille

At the main junction in the centre of Fontvieille, take the road going to Barbegal and Moulès.

Continue down this winding road (it’s the one that goes through the forest of Fontvieille, where Daudet’s windmill is located).

At the first intersection, continue straight on. You will cross a small canal and just after this, on your left you will be able to see Château de Barbegal in your rear-view mirror.

At the next intersection, shortly afterwards, turn right on the road leading to Arles.

Drive approximately 2km along the scenic Route de Coste Basse.  After you pass Mas Barracan (on the left), you will see the A Rocha sign on your right at number 233.  You have arrived!
