Caring for God's world together

A Rocha UK is a Christian environmental and nature conservation charity and we believe that caring for creation is not an optional extra for Christians, but part of worship, discipleship and mission.
We help individuals, groups, churches and communities think about their use of the environment and help them to develop practical ways to care for people and the planet, both locally and globally.
We've been doing this since we started in 1983 in Portugal (where A Rocha means 'the rock'). We're motivated by our biblical beliefs that this is God's world, entrusted to our care, and we welcome anybody who cares about the planet to work with us.
Through our projects and our growing national network of A Rocha Friends, we aim to provide information, support and opportunities for everyone to be involved with caring for God's world. From making small changes in our own lifestyle to volunteering at one of A Rocha's practical projects, there is something for each of us to try.
We would like to invite you to become an A Rocha Friend. Becoming an A Rocha Friend is free and we will send you a booklet about A Rocha, our magazine three times a year and our monthly eNews so that you can learn more, find out what others are doing and join in.
