In a recent paper 'Climate Change, Copenhagen and the United States' A Rocha
UK Council of Reference members Sir John Houghton and Bishop James Jones issue
'an Urgent Call to Prayer and Action'. They conclude:

'In the parable of the Steward in Luke 12, Jesus challenges us with the
words, "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded". We
therefore call on Christians to act and influence as they are able and to pray
especially for the United States of America, President Obama and for members of
Congress that they will recognize the extreme urgency of the situation and
ensure that the opportunity of the Copenhagen Conference will not be missed.'
