The Wave in pictures

Many thanks to the A Rocha Friends who joined with thousands of others to march and pray for climate justice on 5th December ahead of the UN Copenhagen Conference. Read all about the event on The Wave website where you will find links to many news reports, pictures and videos.

Here are a selection of pictures, some featuring A Rocha Friends, giving a flavour of the London event. There were also events in Glasgow and Belfast.

The A Rocha stand at Westminster Central Hall where a service was held before the march. Speakers at the service included the Archbishops of Canterbury and Westminster.

The end of the march is in sight as it turned into Whitehall en route for Westminster.

At Westminster the marchers circled Parliament using Westminster and Lambeth Bridges for the 'blue wave' at 3pm.
