Thinking of doing your own sponsored event to raise money for A Rocha UK?

Maria Masih, A Rocha’s Office Manager, offers some of her tips:

"It really couldn't be easier. When I decided to support my colleague Will by doing a sponsored silence, I didn't have a clue what that meant and what it involved, but actually it's not very much. 

Firstly I had to think of what would be most challenging and fun; for me that was not being able to talk.  Other ideas that I did think about were giving up chocolate or chopping off my long hair.

I chose JustGiving as a safe and easy way to promote the event and collect money. By following a few simple instructions, I was able to set up my own page and start collecting. With the support available online, I was able to raise more then I imagined."
