Dr Vinoth Ramachandra

Vinoth Ramachandra lives in Sri Lanka with his Danish wife Karin, whom he
married in December 1998. Dr Ramachandra was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where
he also had his secondary schooling. He holds bachelors and doctoral degrees in
nuclear engineering from the University of London.

David is the ARI Representative with A Rocha Kenya and the A Rocha Uganda
Initiative. He is also interested in looking at new ways of strengthening and
developing environmental and conservation activities in partnership with
churches and local communities in countries where A Rocha is not yet a

Anne, Lady Prance

Anne Prance was born and educated in the UK. She has taught English in New
York to people of many nationalities, and also in the university in Manaus,
Brazil. She has written articles and co-authored books with her husband,
Professor Sir Ghillean Prance, who is Chair of the A Rocha
International Trustees. She has recently translated a short oral history from
Portuguese to English. More
