The aim of the following pages is to profile some of the species that A Rocha is working to protect in various parts of the world.

The information provided explains where the work is taking place, why the species described is important, why it is threatened, and what A Rocha has already achieved and hopes to achieve in the future with respect to its protection and conservation.

The species chosen represent a range of different animals and plants, illustrating the breadth of A Rocha's studies. Each article was first published in the A Rocha International News.
