Environmental Education
Introduction
A Rocha projects worldwide are involved in many different programmes of
environmental education, from hosting schools in Portugal to running an
environmental art programme for rural women in Lebanon, to providing
scholarships for secondary school students in Kenya and much more. A Rocha is
working to help people appreciate the beauty and fragility of the natural world.
In some locations A Rocha's environmental education programmes are the only
opportunity local people have to learn about the importance of protecting the
environment or to enjoy spending time in a natural setting.
