Volunteer training programme
A Rocha Peru trains individuals with an interest in nature conservation so
that they can participate in projects.

Two A Rocha volunteers from the UK, Peter and Michael, who visited in July
2005 and shared unforgettable moments with the Peruvian volunteers and team.
They visited different habitats in Lima, Madre de Dios and Cuzco to see some of
Peru’s biodiversity, especially butterflies.

Outreach
A Rocha Peru promotes its vision, mission and activities in different media
such as the internet, journals, radio and television.

A Rocha Peru translated the introductory A Rocha International leaflet into
Spanish to reach out to Peruvian people and promote creation care.

A Rocha Peru is exploring ways for communities to benefit from their natural
resources in sustainable ways.
